David McCarrick

Senior Portfolio Manager

David joined the team in 2021 and has worked in the property banking sector for more than 10 years. His previous positions include Senior Asset Manager with NAMA and three years as a Lending Manager with Home Building Finance Ireland. His experience includes the management of loans secured against a diverse range of international properties, which included the financing of large-scale London apartment schemes as well as Irish residential developments.

As Portfolio Manager at Castlehaven, David is responsible for monitoring the progress of developments, conducting site visits, processing monthly drawdowns, implementing loan amendments and addressing day-to-day matters in relation to the Castlehaven portfolio. He particularly enjoys developing professional relationships and takes satisfaction from being involved in the life cycle of the loan and the ultimate delivery of much needed housing supply to the Irish market.

In his down time, David enjoys running, playing football and attending sporting events. He has run the Dublin marathon on two occasions and is actively involved with his local football club as a coach of junior teams.
