Rory McEntee

Business Development

Rory McEntee came to the Castlehaven team with a wide variety of professional experience. Before entering the realm of property, he was a solicitor for Regan McEntee & Partners, specialising in general practice, conveyancing, probate, and litigation. In 2007, Rory made a shift into property consultancy with Godfrey Grant. There, he worked in residential and commercial sales, lettings, and management. After seven years as a consultant, he launched a career in lending, taking a job with Lotus Investment as a credit underwriter. In 2017, he became Chief Operations Officer for Initiative Ireland.

Rory joined the CH Business Development team in February, 2020. Here, he uses his network of experienced property developers to originate new residential and commercial development funding projects. Rory also harnesses relationships with the firm’s existing circle of professionals, including advisors, valuers, agents, solicitors, and accountants.

Thanks to his wealth of experience throughout various aspects of the industry, Rory is familiar with the entire property loan life cycle, from origination through to redemption. He has worked on residential loans with a total worth of over €150 million. His favourite aspect of the job is relationship management. He also enjoys seeing delivery of the finished product.

Rory hails from Kells, Co. Meath. When he isn’t working, he likes to hike, travel, and go to the cinema.
